LANDSCAPE SERVICES

The Lawn Guys mow weekly March through October, then as needed the rest of the year. We mow at the Washington State University recommended mowing height of 2" year round which has been found to provide the healthiest, greenest lawn.

State-of-the-art power edger's are used to create a crisp edge along walks and beds. (We do not use string trimmers for edging.) We blow off all concrete and stone walks to ensure a well groomed yard and surrounding area.

LAWN FERTILIZER PROGRAM

Our fertilizer is granular and gives a slow release, ensuring a healthy, vibrant green grass that needs less water. Our fertilizer program is available exclusively to our lawnmowing customers.

We use a granulated fertilizer because, unlike liquid fertilizer, the granular fertilizer provides your lawn all the nutrients necessary to maximize lawn health and color with less watering.

We follow Washington State University recommendations for our fertilizer applications ensuring we don't damage the environment. Regular fertilizer treatment every 6-8weeks will keep your lawn healthy and green and the roots deep and strong requiring less water.

We also apply lime early each spring to adjust the soil ph balance for our wet Pacific Northwest environment. Weeds in the yard landscaping are treated in the spring and fall of each year.

TREE SHRUB PRUNING

The Lawn Guys take are experts at taking the best care of your plants, shrubs and trees which are pruned or trimmed in accordance with the standards of good horticultural practice and in accordance with the intended function of the plant type in its present location. This maintains the landscape design integrity and enhances your properties appearance.

Plants are pruned and trimmed to avoid contact with building structures, to remain below window sill height and to avoid overlapping sidewalks. Pruning and trimming can be done in spring or fall (or both). Trees above 10' tall may need to be pruned by others.
